AISF Jamshedpur Felicitates New Jharkhand State President Vikram Kumar

Vikram Kumar Assumes AISF Jharkhand State Presidency, Vows to Tackle Student Issues and Oppose New Education Policy

Vikram Kumar takes charge as AISF Jharkhand state president, pledges to uplift student welfare and revolutionize education policies in Jharkhand.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a momentous occasion that set the stage for a dynamic change in Jharkhand’s student politics, the All India Student Federation (AISF) Jamshedpur celebrated the inauguration of Vikram Kumar as the newly elected state president of AISF Jharkhand.

The ceremony, marked by the traditional act of garment giving and garlanding, took place at the AITUC office in Ambagan.

During his address to the media, Vikram Kumar stated, "The confidence shown in our leadership by student representatives from across Jharkhand and the national leadership is a responsibility I intend to fulfill wholeheartedly."

He outlined an ambitious plan aimed at confronting the myriad issues plaguing students in Jharkhand. These issues include the dwindling state of education in schools, colleges, and universities, acute faculty shortages, and delays in examinations and result publication.

In a defiant stand against the current regime, Kumar announced plans to intensify the student movement against the newly implemented education policy.

"We reject the new education policy in its current form," he asserted.

"Instead, we aim to formulate a Jharkhand-centric education policy, one that serves the best interests of our student population."

To this end, Kumar declared that AISF will organize a rally in Ranchi on November 26, 2023, under the AISF flag.

This rally aims to galvanize student participation across the state in opposing the new education policy and campaigning for reforms.

Present at the event were key AISF members, including Singhbhum District Secretary Mukesh Rajak, District President Pawan Kumar Prasad, and other prominent figures like Pratham Das, Subhash Yadav, Ankit Kumar, Vikas Paswan, Abhishek Singh Rajput, Anil Patro, Kumar Vivek, Abhay Patro, Raja Mardi, Prince Kumar, Pranjal Sharma, Jeetu Sharma, Rohit Kumar, and Pappu Sharma.
