JAMSHEDPUR – Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri, District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner, hosted a Janata Darbar to hear about the issues facing ordinary people in the region.

He promised block-level authorities that necessary action would be taken, emphasizing a strong commitment to resolving the concerns of the public.

He also ordered a fast response to calls from district-level police and members of the public, underscoring the importance of efficient communication.

Applications related to public problems were promptly forwarded to departmental officers for thorough investigation, showcasing a proactive approach.

A group from Kowali village reported difficulties obtaining birth certificates, a common concern that was quickly addressed.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the District Statistics Officer and District Panchayat Raj Officer to set up a camp for birth-death certificates, offering an accessible solution.

The verification of five villagers was suggested for the widow/destitute and single-family pension schemes, reflecting targeted support for vulnerable groups.

Information was gathered about the availability of toilets in Gram Panchayats, and encouragement was given to use them, aligning with broader sanitation goals.

Instructions were given to complete Form 6 for voter ID and cover eligible people under the pension scheme, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to inclusivity and social welfare.
