Jamshedpur Workers College Welcomes First-Year Students with Special Ceremony

Jamshedpur Workers College hosts 11th welcoming ceremony for first-year arts, sciences, and commerce students. Principal and faculty in charge emphasized discipline and college pride.

JAMSHEDPUR – Amarendra Kumar Singh, the college’s principal in charge, and Javed Ansari, the faculty in charge, ignited a lamp on the portrait of Maa Saraswati at the 11th welcoming ceremony for first-year students in the arts, sciences, and commerce fields.

The event began with a garlanding ceremony to honor the goddess of knowledge.

In his remarks to the students, the Principal-in-charge emphasized that each student’s performance in grades 11 and 12 would significantly impact their future.

He stressed that the completion of the 12th standard would determine the course of their career and highlighted the importance of discipline among students.

According to him, without discipline, no student can succeed in life.

Javed Ansari, the faculty in charge of Jamshedpur Workers College, gave the students detailed information about the college’s discipline policies and urged them not to compromise with it.

He likened the responsibility of students to their duty to protect and care for the college, just as they would secure possessions in their home.

He encouraged students to commit to preserving the college’s entirety and maintaining its cleanliness and beauty.

Jamshedpur Workers College takes pride in being a notable institution with state championship accolades.

The college expects all students to contribute to enhancing its reputation and making their mark in the community in the coming years.

Seasoned instructors are committed to promoting the overall growth of the students, prioritizing extracurricular activities like athletics, music, dance, and other skill-building activities alongside academics.

The event was directed by Professor Suman Rai, while Professor Rinki Bansiyar delivered the vote of gratitude.

A welcome song, Saraswati Vandana, and welcome dance were performed by the college’s 12th graders.

The gathering included professors, staff members, student leaders, and a large number of students, symbolizing the unity and aspiration of the college community.
