Daylight Robbery at Ishwar Lal Jewelry Store in Seraikela’s Gamharia

Fearless miscreants loot a jewelry store in broad daylight in Seraikela’s Gamharia district, with the police on high alert to capture the culprits.

JAMSHEDPUR – A shocking daylight robbery occurred at Ishwar Lal Jewelery, located at Lal Building Chowk under Adityapur police station in Seraikela district.

On Sunday morning, around 11:00 am, three masked armed criminals stormed the jewelry store and executed a planned robbery.

Posing as customers interested in purchasing wedding jewelry, the criminals entered the shop and requested to see various pieces.

Once the jewelry was brought out, they brandished their weapons and swiftly packed the jewelry into their bags.

Before making their escape, the miscreants lowered the store’s shutters and made away with the CCTV and DVR units in an attempt to erase any evidence of their crime.

Reportedly, they also destroyed the mobile phones of all present staff members to delay the report of the incident.

The Adityapur and Gamharia police, upon receiving information about the robbery, immediately arrived at the scene and began their investigation.

SP Dr. Vimal Kumar also arrived at the location, assessed the situation, and assured that efforts have been intensified to apprehend the culprits.

CCTV footage from nearby locations is being scanned, and assistance is being sought from the neighboring district Jamshedpur police force.

The amount of stolen jewelry is still being determined.
