Ranchi’s RIMS Hospital Holds Breastfeeding Awareness Program

RIMS Hospital in Ranchi hosts an awareness program on the importance of breastfeeding for newborns’ health.

RANCHI – World Breastfeeding Day, celebrated annually from August 1 to August 7, sees numerous awareness programs held in health centers and Anganwadi centers across the country.

In line with this, Jharkhand’s largest government hospital, RIMS, organized an awareness program.

Hundreds of female students attended, along with many doctors and principals of RIMS.

On the spot, the principal and the HOD imparted invaluable knowledge to the students.

They emphasized that there is nothing better for a newborn than its mother’s milk.

It provides the necessary strength to fight various diseases.

Awareness campaigns like these aim to drive this point home.

They also highlighted the importance of the child consuming the mother’s milk within the first hour of birth.

Mother’s milk is a treasure trove of nutrients, and consuming it strengthens the physical immunity in children.
