JAMSHEDPUR – The Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) in Jamshedpur has carved out a niche for itself in state and international hockey competitions.

NTHA cadets regularly represent the Jharkhand state team, reflecting the institution’s superior training and player development.

Housing 52 cadets aged between 13 and 18, NTHA is the first private hockey High Performance Centre, known for its comprehensive development programs.

The establishment of the Naval Tata Hockey Academy in Jamshedpur was made possible in 2017 through a collaboration between Tata Steel and Tata Trust.

At the upcoming Sub-Junior India Camp in Rourkela, three cadets will get a golden opportunity to prove their mettle and impress national selectors.

NTHA CEO, Ashish Kumar, expresses his excitement on this development, stating, "We are thrilled that three of our cadets have been shortlisted for the Sub-Junior India Camp. This is evidence of the diligence and hard work of our instructors and cadets. We wish them well in the camp."
