Gathering planned by Sikh Youth Association at Mango Gurudwara to commemorate Sikh warrior Banda Singh Bahadur and delve into Sikh history.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Mango Gurudwara is set to be the venue for an enlightening discourse organized by the Sikh Youth Association’s Mango chapter on Sunday, July 9.
This seminar seeks to pay homage to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, the revered Sikh warrior, and delve into the rich annals of Sikhism.
In a meeting held on Friday, July 7, to discuss the arrangements for the seminar, Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri, the General Secretary of the youth association, and President Jagdeep Singh Goldy made this announcement.
The event will not only celebrate the life and sacrifices of Banda Singh Bahadur but also create an educational platform for children.
They will gain insight into pivotal moments in Sikhism history through this event.
Furthermore, a question-and-answer session will be held, with prizes for the winners.
This initiative was previously introduced during the last Khalsa Fateh March, as shared by Sukhwant Singh Sukhu.
Esteemed Sikh preachers from Jamshedpur, including Gyani Gurpratap Singh, Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri, Bibi Manpreet Kaur, Jagseer Singh, Jaswant Singh Jassu, and Sukhwant Singh Sukhu, will grace the seminar.
They aim to enlighten attendees about the martyrs of Sikh history.
The event will also feature religious plays, adding to the informative and engaging atmosphere.
In an appeal to the Sikh community of Jamshedpur, the association members urged families to bring their children to the seminar.
They stressed the importance of the younger generation learning about their religion’s rich heritage in a comprehensive and engaging manner.
