Guru Purnima Festival Celebrated with Yoga and Felicitations in Sakchi

Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti hosts Guru Purnima festival in Sakchi, celebrating with yoga demonstration and teacher honors.

JAMSHEDPUR – In honor of Guru Purnima, the Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti organized a special festival at a hotel in Sakchi.

Nearly 200 women from the Mahila Samiti participated, performing a dramatic demonstration of various Yoga Asanas.

The event aimed to not only celebrate the auspicious occasion but also to promote the benefits of yoga and its importance in maintaining physical and mental health.

A unique feature of the festival was the recognition and honoring of women who are yoga teachers under the banner of the Patanjali Yoga Samiti.

These dedicated women have been selflessly providing free yoga lessons in various villages, spreading the practice and principles of yoga to those who might not have access to such resources otherwise.

Their contribution to the community was acknowledged with due respect during the festival, further reinforcing the spirit of Guru Purnima.
