Jamshedpur GST Office Celebrates 6th Anniversary with Record Revenue Collection

Marking the 6th year of GST implementation, Jamshedpur’s GST office held a seminar where taxpayers and officials discussed their experiences and shared views.

JAMSHEDPUR – Celebrating the sixth anniversary of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) implementation in the country, a seminar was organized at the Jamshedpur GST office on Saturday.

The seminar saw the participation of taxpayers, tax collectors, and GST officials who used the platform to exchange views on the system and its impact.

Speaking on the occasion, MK Singh, GST Superintendent of Jamshedpur Circle, proudly announced that the last financial year had witnessed a record revenue collection of 1.87 crores for the circle.

An increase in taxpayers by 1.60 lakh was also registered.

He stated that the people’s inclination towards GST has seen a significant increase.

The department continues to amplify its revenue collection while spreading awareness among the masses.
