Chakulia: Governor Radhakrishnan’s Interaction with Bhatkunda Villagers

Governor CP Radhakrishnan discusses government schemes, education, and societal development with villagers in Bhatkunda, Chakulia.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan visited Bhatkunda village on Sunday.

Engaging with villagers, he stressed on the role of government schemes in fulfilling basic needs.

Yet, he emphasized, continuous self-effort and societal sobriety are vital for development.

He expressed satisfaction after learning that the PVTG community is well-informed about the ‘Postman Scheme’.

The governor encouraged residents to seek detailed information about all government initiatives.

He urged them to educate their children, asserting it as the key to social and economic progress.

The governor commended the implementation of the forest lease scheme in the village.

He also discussed the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other housing schemes.

Highlighting the government’s efforts to support farmers, he advised judicious usage of resources provided by self-help groups.

The Deputy Development Commissioner briefed him about the progress of various Central and State Government schemes.

Finally, the governor distributed assets to beneficiaries of these schemes.
