Shaurya NGO Pays Respect to Odisha Train Accident Victims

Jamshedpur’s Shaurya NGO conducts tribute ceremony for victims of the Balasore, Odisha train accident. Prayers were offered for the deceased and the injured.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a solemn act of respect and remembrance, Jamshedpur-based social organization, Shaurya, paid tribute to the victims of the recent train accident in Balasore, Odisha.

The event was held at their Golmuri office on Wednesday.

In a heartfelt ceremony, candles were lit and prayers were offered for the peace of the souls lost in the tragic incident. Prayers were also extended for the speedy recovery of the hundreds of injured passengers.

Amarjit Singh Raja, founder of Shaurya, described the event as a “painful accident,” revealing that nearly 288 people had perished and many more were injured.

The organization expressed their condolences to the bereaved and acknowledged the tireless efforts of the paramilitary force and the NDRF team, whose continued work aided in the rescue operation and in saving many lives.

Numerous dignitaries were present at the tribute program, including former BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, Haldhar Narayan Shah, Shriram Prasad, and many others. The ceremony concluded with kind regards from Amarjit Singh Raja.
