Tata Steel’s Sports Summer Camp 2023 at JRD Tata Sports Complex Opens Registrations for Kids and Parents

Camp aims to Promote Fitness, Wellness, and a Healthy Lifestyle Through Various Sports Activities

Tata Steel Sports Summer Camp 2023 at JRD Complex: Fitness, wellness & sports for kids 6-19; Yoga, Zumba for all. Registration open for an active summer!

Jamshedpur – Tata Steel Sports Division has announced the organization of the Sports Summer Camp 2023 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex from May 12-30, 2023.

The camp is designed to create awareness about fitness, wellness, and a healthy lifestyle among the city’s youth and encourage participation in sports activities.

Children aged 6 to 19 can participate in a wide range of sports disciplines, including Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Golf, Handball, Horse Riding, Karate, Kabaddi, Roller Skate/Roll Ball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Football, Zumba, Yoga, Hockey (at Naval Tata Hockey Academy), and Volleyball.

Yoga and Zumba are open for all age groups, while Hockey registrations are limited to ages 11 to 17.

The Summer Camp is expected to attract significant participation due to its scheduling during school summer vacations.

Camp timings are set from 6 AM to 8 AM for most disciplines, with Swimming and Badminton having different slots.

Parents can also register for Yoga and Zumba classes, while additional activities and sessions for parents, guardians, and children are scheduled throughout the camp.

These include knowledge sharing on nutrition, hydration, fire and road safety, mental well-being, graffiti wall painting, adventure play zone, healthy food festival, and environment sustainability-related activities.

Tata Steel has a long history of promoting and encouraging sports, with several academies of excellence, including Tata Football Academy, Tata Archery Academy, Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Tata Sport Climbing Academy, and Tata Steel SAI Athletics & Boxing Excellence Centres.

The Sports Division is eager for active participation from all sports enthusiasts in this fun-filled summer camp.

Registrations opened on April 25, 2023, at the JRD Tata Sports Complex and can be done online at https://forms.office.com/r/KLSzFgAxHS. Registration will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Camp Timings:

From 6 AM to 8 AM for disciplines other than Badminton & Swimming

Swimming – from 8 AM to 11 AM and from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Badminton- from 08.00 am – 8 AM-12 Noon and 2 PM to 4 PM
