Desk: In an effort to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage and inspire future generations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to watch a two-part Doordarshan documentary titled ‘Dharohar Bharat Ki.’
The documentary will be aired on DD National at 8 PM on April 14th and 15th.
In response to a tweet by Doordarshan, Prime Minister Modi described the documentary as a tribute to India’s heritage, freedom fighters, and the valour of those who serve in uniform.
The documentary, presented as “धरोहर भारत की – पुनरुत्थान की कहानी,” will also be streamed on Jio Cinema at the same time.
Anchored by popular digital media presenter Kamiya Jani, the documentary takes viewers on a journey into India’s past, showcasing the country’s cultural, spiritual, and national ethos.
In an exclusive interaction for the documentary, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the importance of recognizing the sacrifices of India’s soldiers in securing the nation’s independence.
The documentary highlights India’s efforts to revive its spirit of cultural unity and pride, while also showcasing the steps taken to ensure the security and sanctity of patriotic sites such as Jallianwala Bagh, Ram Janmabhoomi, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Somnath Dham, and Kedarnath Dham.
It also pays tribute to spiritual sites like Kartarpur Sahib, celebrates the lives of freedom fighters at the Cellular Jail, and acknowledges the contributions of Netaji Bose through the grand Netaji statue at India Gate Canopy.
By covering a wide range of themes, ‘Dharohar Bharat Ki’ aims to honor and celebrate the legendary contributions of India’s patriots, past and present, while also providing an eye-opening revival of the nation’s rich cultural odyssey through a visually striking narrative.
