Former president of Indian National Congress party Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi. She was admitted to the hospital after suffering from bronchitis.
Dr DS Rana of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital said in a statement that Sonia Gandhi has been kept under observation. Her physical condition is currently stable.
The 76-year-old politician was admitted to the hospital for the second time this year.
Last January, she was admitted to a hospital in Delhi after suffering from a respiratory infection.
