Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was brought back from certain death by his fans with their timely action.
Imran met the young man at the hospital on Saturday. He was full of praise for him and referred to him as ‘Pakistan’s hero’.
At the moment, the young man named Ibtisam is under treatment for injuries. He was shot in the ankle.
News reports said that Imran met the young man and said, “You are the hero of Pakistan. The courage you have shown is immense.”
At the moment, the young man is admitted to Shawkat Khanum Hospital in Pakistan. His leg was broken as a result of the bullet injury.
Imran Khan was in a hooded car during the ‘Real Freedom’ march on Thursday afternoon.
A round was fired at him from the very front of the car.
This young man was right behind the assailant.
He grabbed the assailant’s hand and moved the gun to the other side, causing the assailant to miss his target.
The gunman immediately dropped his pistol and started running. The young man also ran behind. Ibtisam caught the assailant and handed him over to the police.
All over Pakistan people are praising his bravery.
After saving Imran, he was heard to say, “I saw the assailant after the first shot. Next time I hit him before he shoots. He mmediately dropped the gun and started running.”
He then added, “Khan Sahib, as long as I live, I will not let him get hurt.”
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s broadcasting regulator PEMRA has ordered all TV channels to not telecast live any of Imran Khan’s speeches or press conferences.
