TMH waives off Rs 65 thousand dues, girl discharged

Jamshedpur: The intervention of former Baharagora MLA and BJP state spokesman Kunal Sarangi worked as TMH waived off Rs. 65,000 dues relating to treatment of a girl who was admitted in the hospital for treatment of snake-bite.

The child Durgeshwari Gorai was bitten by a poisonous snake and had to be admitted in TMH in a serious condition. Her treatment was successful as she recovered. However, the bill for treatment reached Rs. 1,11,500, which the family was not in a position to pay.

The family members requested BJP Birsanagar Mandal president Bablu Gope. On Bablu Gope’s request the BJP State spokesman Kunal Sarangi and former district president of the party Dinesh Kumar intervened and persuaded the hospital management to waive off the remaining dues.

The hospital management waived off Rs. 65,000 dues and discharged the girl from the hospital.

The family of the girl expressed gratitude to Kunal Sarangi, Dinesh Kumar and Bablu Gope for their intervention.
