Missing security guard’s dead body found from under-construction mall in Bistupur

Jamshedpur: The dead body of a security guard was found in the half-constructed Jusco mall beside PM Mall under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station. This caused quite a commotion in the area. Police are investigating the case.

According to police sources, the deceased security guard was a resident of Adityapur of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. He has been identified as Jaiprakash Singh. He was missing for the last 3 days from his house. His family members had informed Adityapur police about this.

Meanwhile, Bistupur police asked the family members to identify the dead body found in under construction Jusco Mall. The family members identified it as Jaiprakash Singh.

The deceased Jaiprakash Singh used to work in Bravo Security Agency.

The family members have expressed apprehensions that he might have been killed. They even said that they would not cremate the dead body until compensation was paid to them.

Meanwhile, the police are looking into all aspects fo the case.

The incident has caused quite a resentment among the locals. Bistupur police have also expressed doubts that the security guard might have died after falling from height.

The dead body allegedly had serious head injuries. The mall has been lying closed for several years as the construction has been stopped midway due to legal wrangles.

A dead body being found in a closed mall has raised several questions on the law and order situation.

Police are still looking into all aspects of the case.
