Corona claims 1 life on Wednesday, total deaths 371

Jamshedpur: After sparing Jamshedpur for four days on the trot from any deaths, coronavirus on Wednesday did claim 1 life.
And this took the total death toll for East Singhbhum district to 371.

According to official data, 20 new coronavirus positive patients have been identified in East Singhbhum district. With this, the total number of infected persons in the district reached 16,845.

On the other hand, on Wednesday, 18 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals taking the total number of recoveries in the district to 16,272.

As per official data, till date 3,84,015 samples have been tested in the district. Out of these, 16,845 samples have tested positive while 3,67,171 samples have tested negative.

The recovery rate in the district remains at 97%, while the mortality rate is 2.2%. The positivity rate in the district has come down to 4.4%.
