Coronavirus claims 1 more life on Sunday, total death toll 348

31 new cases found, 32 cured and discharged too

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus has taken 1 more life on Sunday in Jamshedpur. With this the total number of deaths due to coronavirus has reached 348.

According to official data 1 person died on Sunday in the city. He was being treated in TMH.

The number of newly detected positive cases too remained low on Sunday. As per official data, a total of 1,686 samples were tested on Sunday. Out of these, only 31 samples were confirmed as positive for covid-19 virus. With this, the number of total infections in East Singhbhum district since the detection of first patient in the district has now reached up to 15,585.

The official data indicate that a total of 2,85,197 samples have been tested in the district till Sunday. Out of these, 258,382 samples have tested negative, while 15,585 samples have tested positive for the virus.

On Sunday itself, 32 patients were cured and discharged from different hospitals of the city as well as from home quarantine. With this, the total number of cured and discharged patients has now reached 14,063 in the district.
