Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato today charged that he was not allowed to garland the statue of the former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s statue in the Jharkhand Assembly Complex on his second death anniversary.
Addressing a press conference in Jamshedpur, Bidyut Baran Mahato, Jamshedpur MP, targeted the Hemant Soren government and said that it was Vajpayee who created a separate Jharkhand state. Yet, the state government did not allow BJP MP from Ranchi Sanjay Seth and himself to garland his statue in the Assembly complex.
He said that they were not even allowed to enter the Assembly House, which is condemnable.
Mr Mahato said that such behaviour against the leaders of a person, who gave Jharkhand its new identity and statehood is condemnable.
