RANCHI – The home, jail, and disaster management department of Jharkhand has allocated ₹2.82 crore for the construction and repair of jails in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Seraikela.

The allocated funds are divided among the Birsa Munda Central Jail in Hotwar Ranchi with ₹1.36 crore, the central jail in Ghaghidih with ₹72.38 lakh, and the divisional jail in Seraikela with ₹74.24 lakh.

The Jail Superintendents are designated as the officers responsible for the withdrawal and expenditure of these funds.
