1-month-old baby found near railway tracks in Chakradharpur, now safe and healthy

Chakradharpur: A one and half-month healthy baby was found abandoned near railway tracks near Refugee Colony in Chakradharpur Sub-division in West Singhbhum district.

The finding of an abandoned child from near the tracks and the child’s being healthy and unharmed has sent a wave of concern as well as happiness in the entire area.

According to information received, an abandoned baby of around one and a half month was found near the railway tracks.

The police were informed by the locals and they soon arrived there. The baby was taken by the police and made safe and secure.

The baby was taken to Divisional Hospital. The doctors examined it and found it completely healthy.

The police have contacted Child Line and are continuing with the process of handing over the baby to Child Line.
