SERAIKELA – The Seraikela-Kharsawan District Transport Department launched a strict “No Helmet, No Seat Belt, No Fuel” campaign to enhance road safety and reduce accidents. On Wednesday, District Transport Officer Girija Shankar Mahato spearheaded the initiative, visiting multiple petrol pumps to ensure compliance.

Petrol pump operators were instructed not to provide fuel to vehicle operators failing to adhere to helmet or seat belt requirements. This move is aimed at promoting adherence to road safety laws and reducing the incidence of accidents on highways and local roads.

Officials Lead the Charge

The campaign witnessed active participation from District Transport Officer Girija Shankar Mahato, District Road Safety Manager Kundan Verma, and Road Engineer Analyst Ashutosh Kumar Singh. They personally inspected petrol pumps and interacted with operators to ensure the directive was strictly followed.
