Police Arrest All Accused in Gang Rape, Recover Looted Items

Dumka police have apprehended all suspects in the gang rape case of a Spanish woman, seizing stolen property but not cash.

DUMKA – Dumka’s law enforcement has resolved a harrowing crime involving the assault of a Spanish woman, arresting the final suspects and reclaiming stolen items.

Dumka SP Pitambar Singh Kherwar announced the arrest of five additional youths, completing the detainment of all eight involved.

The arrested individuals, aged between 18 and 25, were located near the victims’ campsite, linking them directly to the crime.

Recovered possessions include a watch among other items, although the stolen cash remains unrecovered.

Kherwar detailed a discrepancy in the initial count of assailants, clarified by the victim’s testimony and further arrests.

The police force has amassed substantial evidence against the accused, setting the stage for a rapid trial.

Efforts by forensic and CID teams have scientifically bolstered the case against the perpetrators.
