Community of Rohtak Honors Rajan Zed with Pluralism Award for Global Interfaith Efforts

Rajan Zed, a global religious statesman, receives the "Pluralism Award of Excellence" in Rohtak for his significant contributions to interfaith understanding and religious freedom.

DESK – Rohtak, a historic city part of India’s National Capital Region, witnessed a notable event celebrating interfaith harmony.

Rajan Zed, a renowned religious statesman, was honored with the prestigious "Pluralism Award of Excellence" by the Community of Rohtak.

The award was presented to Zed by Raj Kamal Sehgal, Senior Deputy Mayor of Rohtak Municipal Corporation.

Signatories of the award included Vishav Deepak Trikha of the Haryana Institute of Performing Art, Anshul Pathania from Pathania World Campus, and Dr. Mangal Sen Chair Advisor Somnath Sharma of Maharshi Dayanand University.

The award citation recognized Zed’s global efforts in promoting freedom of religion, fostering pluralistic societies, and enhancing interfaith unity and cooperation.

Community leaders at the ceremony spoke highly of Zed’s international work in advocating for interfaith understanding.

Zed expressed his gratitude towards the Rohtak community for the honor and love extended to him.

His global influence includes advocacy for interfaith dialogue, Hinduism, and European Roma rights.

Zed’s efforts have led him to deliver opening prayers in various legislative bodies across the United States and to meet with the President of the European Parliament.

His accolades include the "World Interfaith Leader Award" and various advisory roles in interfaith organizations.

Rajan Zed has also been a panelist on The Washington Post’s "On Faith" and runs an interfaith panel in a Gannett newspaper, bridging different religions and beliefs since 2011.

His global dialogues encompass engagements with the World Economic Forum and conversations with leaders of diverse faiths and non-believers.
