Jeremy Manzorro Signs One-Year Deal with Jamshedpur FC

French midfielder, Jeremy Manzorro, will be joining the ranks of Jamshedpur FC for a year, bolstering the team’s midfield.

JAMSHEDPUR – French midfielder Jeremy Manzorro has inked a one-year contract with Jamshedpur FC, marking a significant addition to the team’s roster.

Throughout his career, Manzorro has played for a variety of teams, but he arguably had his most successful years in Kazakhstan. There, he twice won the Kazakh League—once with Tobol Kostanay and once with FC Astana—and also triumphed in the 2021 Kazakh Cup.

Manzorro has a proven track record of being a champion. With FK Suduva Marijampole, he helped secure the Lithuanian A League championship in 2017 and followed it up with a Lithuanian Cup victory the next year.

Adding to his notable achievements, the robust midfielder has made 8 appearances in the UEFA Europa League and 4 in the UEFA Europa Conference League, leaving a substantial mark in European competition. Now, he is set to dominate the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) with the Men of Steel.

In a statement regarding his move to Jamshedpur FC, Manzorro said, "This is a team that has already shown it can win the ISL Shield, and that was a major factor in my decision to join Jamshedpur FC. With some of the best fans in the country, choosing to play here wasn’t a hard decision for me. I’m looking forward to leading our team to new heights in collaboration with the head coach and staff."

Manzorro joins the team from Sandecja Nowy Scz in Poland. The 31-year-old offensive midfielder’s versatility allows him to fill various roles on the field, enhancing his value to the Men of Steel. He began his career with the junior squad of the current Ligue 1 club, Stade de Reims, before making his senior team debut in 2011. Manzorro was born in Villeurbanne, Lyon, France.

Jamshedpur FC head coach Scott Cooper said, "Jeremy is a dynamic, versatile, and energetic midfielder. He will be a handful for the opposition to contain and previously won Kazakhstan’s player of the year. Teams in the league will find him more than a handful to deal with as he comes with solid experience and is technically very good."
