MEDININAGAR – A bicycle distribution event was organized at the BRC office premises in Hussainabad, Palamu district, on Thursday. The welfare department facilitated the distribution of bicycles to 650 Class 8 students from various schools for the academic session 2024-25.
The event was attended by MLA Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav, SDO Gaurang Mahato, and BDO Sunil Kumar Verma, among other dignitaries. Students from multiple schools, including UMV Upperkala, UMV Benikala, Kanya MV Hussainabad, and others, benefited from the initiative, receiving bicycles to aid in their educational journey.
MLA Stresses Importance of Education
Addressing the gathering, MLA Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav urged students to make the most of the facilities provided by the government. “Education is the key to success, and with determination and hard work, you can achieve your goals,” he said, encouraging students to work towards a brighter future.

The initiative covered 312 boys and 338 girls from schools such as UMV Lamari, UMV Bedoulia, and Plus Two Sandha. It reflected the collective efforts of officials and educators to promote education in remote areas.
