DM Ananya Mittal Leads Push for Efficient Project Implementation

Officials convened to assess and accelerate various development schemes, emphasizing inter-departmental collaboration and timely project completion across Jamshedpur district.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Magistrate Ananya Mittal chaired a crucial meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium to evaluate and expedite ongoing development initiatives.

The gathering focused on enhancing coordination between departments to streamline the implementation of various schemes. Mittal emphasized the need for swift resolution of land transfer issues to prevent delays in infrastructure projects.

Rural Development Initiatives

Block Development Officers (BDOs) were tasked with daily monitoring of labor engagement and muster rolls. The progress of key rural schemes, including the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana and Veer Shaheed Poto Ho Yojana, underwent thorough examination.

"We aim to have at least five active schemes in every village and Panchayat to boost local employment," Mittal stated during the review.

Education and Health Sector Focus

Officials discussed the cycle distribution program for eighth-grade students, with BDOs instructed to submit progress reports promptly. The meeting also addressed the PM-ABHIM scheme, focusing on the construction of health centers and the progress of Panchayat-level medicine shops.

A senior education official emphasized, "Raising awareness about the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme is crucial to enable students to pursue higher education after class 12."

Land-related Issues and Tribal Welfare

The District Magistrate directed LRDC and COs to hold regular court sessions to expedite land-related cases. The meeting also reviewed schemes focused on tribal welfare, including the Forest Rights Act and Tribal Culture and Art Center initiatives.
