Senior Journalist Shaktivrat Choudhary Passes Away

Jamshedpur’s veteran journalist Shaktivrat Choudhary passed away in Kolkata, leaving a legacy of impactful journalism.

Senior journalist Shaktivrat Choudhary, who was associated with Hindustan newspaper and later pursued independent journalism, passed away in Kolkata.

JAMSHEDPUR – Shaktivrat Choudhary, a senior journalist from Jamshedpur, passed away in Kolkata on Thursday night.

His last rites were performed in Kolkata today.

Choudhary, who was associated with the daily newspaper Hindustan in the 90s, later ventured into independent journalism.

He had been residing in Kolkata for some time but had a house in Mango, Jamshedpur.

The news of his passing has caused a wave of mourning among the journalists of Jamshedpur.

Shaktivrat Choudhary co-authored a book titled “Beyond News” with fellow journalist Sanjeev Shekhar, contributing significantly to the field of journalism.
