CHAKULIA – Kalpana Soren, JMM MLA and wife of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, addressed a large gathering at the Maaiya Samman Yatra rally in Chakulia on Thursday.

The MLA highlighted the government’s Rs1,000 monthly support for women.

Kalpana accused the Central government of stalling important initiatives.
She questioned the delay in approving 27% reservation for backward classes.
The JMM leader criticized the Centre for withholding Rs1.36 crore owed to Jharkhand.
