Joy House Claims Championship Trophy in Two-Day Inter-House Competition

JAMSHEDPUR – Kerala Samajam Model School organized its annual youth festival Awsar 2025-26 on December 4-5. The event featured students from classes I to VII.

The festival provided a platform for competitive performances. Four houses—Charity, Hope, Joy, and Peace—competed for championship honors. Principal Nandini Shukla addressed participants before competitions began.

Moreover, Vice Principals Sujata Singh, Rina Banerjee, and AL Abraham attended. Registrar Vrinda Suresh was also present. The event showcased diverse talent across multiple categories.

Students participated in solo dance and Kavya Paath. English and Hindi elocution competitions were held. Declamation and Western solo song contests took place. However, a quiz competition tested knowledge and quick thinking.

In addition, a rampwalk themed “Timeless Tapestry” added visual appeal. The presentation demonstrated creativity and coordination. Students displayed confidence throughout the performance.

The prize distribution ceremony concluded the festival. Peace House secured the runner-up position. Joy House claimed the overall championship trophy. The competition remained intense until final results.

School management supported the organizing team throughout. Junior Activity Incharge Payel Roy coordinated the event. She received assistance from Senior Activity Incharge Shalini Kumar. The team ensured smooth execution of all activities.

The festival promoted teamwork and house pride. Students demonstrated their abilities across various disciplines. The two-day celebration highlighted talent and creativity. Furthermore, it strengthened the spirit of healthy competition among houses.

Each house prepared extensively for the competitions. Participants showcased skills developed through practice. The event encouraged confidence building among young students. On the other hand, it provided valuable stage experience.

The Kerala Samajam festival reflected institutional commitment to holistic development. Academic learning combined with extracurricular activities. Students gained recognition for their talents. The championship trophy symbolized collective effort and dedication.
