JAMSHEDPUR – J. H. Tarapore School inaugurated its new auditorium on November 2, 2025.

The facility is named Aura Mazda — In Light of Wisdom. Chairman Bailey Bodhanwala opened it on his birthday.

Managing Committee members attended the ceremony. Distinguished guests also graced the occasion.

Zoroastrian priests performed a Jashan ritual initially. The ceremony invoked blessings for success and wisdom.

Principal Lata Sharat delivered the welcome address. She emphasized the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity.

Moreover, improved infrastructure supports excellence in education, she stated. The facility will enhance students’ cultural development.

Director Rubina Bodhanwala shared an emotional story. Her daughter Tina Bodhanwala Sood fulfilled Bailey’s dream.

“She completed this project during his illness,” Rubina said. The family realized the chairman’s vision together.

The auditorium features advanced technological equipment. It includes modern sound and lighting systems.

A high-resolution LED screen enhances visual presentations. The stage facilities meet contemporary performance standards.

The venue will host cultural programs regularly. Inter-school events and workshops are also planned.

A brunch followed the inauguration ceremony. Guests and teachers celebrated the achievement together.
