First IEEE International Conference Begins with Hybrid Format and Global Focus

JAMSHEDPUR – The IEEE International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science with Advanced Power Technologies – A Future Trend (ICE2CPT 2025) was inaugurated at NIT Jamshedpur today. The event marks the first edition of this IEEE-sponsored global conference, hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering.
The three-day event will continue from October 29 to 31, bringing together scholars, researchers, and professionals to explore advancements in power systems, electronics, and computing. However, it also aims to strengthen academia-industry collaboration through discussions and paper presentations.
On the other hand, the opening ceremony featured participation from national and international delegates. The organisers announced that ICE2CPT 2025 will operate in hybrid mode, enabling both physical and online engagement.
Moreover, keynote speakers are addressing emerging topics such as renewable energy integration, artificial intelligence in power systems, electric vehicles, and smart grid technologies. The sessions emphasise innovation for a sustainable and intelligent energy future.
In addition, several parallel technical tracks are being held. They include areas like automation, robotics, IoT-based monitoring, and machine learning for energy optimisation. Only presented papers will be considered for publication in IEEE Xplore.
Meanwhile, the event also includes workshops and panel discussions led by experts from academia and industry. A participant remarked, “ICE2CPT 2025 serves as a vital platform for sharing innovative research and building global networks.”
Besides research presentations, the organisers have planned exhibitions, poster contests, and interactive sessions to enhance professional exchange. Early registration concluded on September 30, with more than 400 participants from across the globe.
NIT Jamshedpur, recognised as an Institute of National Importance, continues to promote cutting-edge research through such international conferences. The Electrical Engineering Department highlighted that ICE2CPT 2025 underlines the institute’s vision of advancing sustainable energy and digital transformation.
As the sessions proceed, experts will discuss future-ready solutions for energy efficiency, intelligent control systems, and low-carbon technologies. The closing session on October 31 will announce the best paper awards and recognise outstanding contributions.
