Woman Missing for a Month in Chandil, Husband Suspects Loan Agent

Police Launch Probe After 33-Year-Old Mother Disappears in Seraikela-Kharsawan

JAMSHEDPUR – A 33-year-old woman from Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has been missing for about a month.

The missing woman, Reshmi Karmakar, is the wife of Rohin Karmakar. According to her husband, she disappeared on July 10. The couple has three young children.

Rohin stated that his wife had taken a bank loan, and the agent visited their home regularly to collect payments. On the day she went missing, she had spoken to the agent over the phone.

After searching extensively without success, Rohin submitted an application to the police, appealing for help in locating his wife. He suspects that the loan agent might have taken her away.

Police have registered a case and started investigating the matter.
