Key Points:
- Governor Santosh Gangwar likely to visit CTC Precision Tools on September 8
- DC and SP inspect venue, review security and traffic arrangements
- Officials directed to finalise plans in coordination before the event
SERAIKELA – District administration in Seraikela has stepped up preparations ahead of Governor Santosh Gangwar’s likely visit on September 8.
The proposed event is set to take place at CTC Precision Tools Private Limited. The company is located in Phase-7 of Adityapur’s industrial area.
Deputy Commissioner Nitish Kumar Singh and Superintendent of Police Manoj Swargiary visited the venue on Sunday. They inspected the site ahead of the governor’s expected arrival.
During the visit, officials reviewed security arrangements, law and order plans, and traffic management. They also examined the likely entry and exit routes for the governor’s convoy.
Additionally, officials reviewed vehicle parking arrangements and guest entry points at the venue. Relevant departments were given directions based on their respective responsibilities.
Meanwhile, police officers were told to keep security arrangements tight throughout the programme. They were also instructed to manage traffic without inconveniencing local residents or industrial-area commuters.
DC Singh said preparations were being made at the administrative level given the possible September 8 event. He asked officials to coordinate closely and complete all arrangements on schedule.
SP Swargiary, meanwhile, said all necessary security aspects were being assessed for the event. He added that adequate police deployment and a traffic strategy would be finalised for the venue and surrounding areas.
Officials present during the inspection included Deputy Development Commissioner Reena Hansda and SDM Abhinav Prakash. SDPO Anubhav Bhardwaj, Adityapur police station in-charge Anjani Singh, and DPRO Avinash Kumar also attended, along with company staff.
The visit follows the governor’s other recent engagements across the district. He was earlier felicitating weavers at a handloom day event in the region.
Officials had previously confirmed he would be the chief guest for that earlier programme as well.
Seraikela authorities have separately been active on other administrative fronts this month. The Deputy Development Commissioner recently reviewed education department performance in the district.
Seraikela police have also seen recent successes on the enforcement side. Officers there solved a burglary case within 24 hours earlier this month.
