School children participated in the religious celebrations enthusiastically. They joined their families for traditional worship rituals. Moreover, educational institutions encouraged student participation in festivities.

Women and men arrived in significant numbers for Jalabhishek ceremonies. They carried holy water from various sources. Furthermore, devotees followed traditional customs during worship.

All major Shiv temples experienced unprecedented footfall during festivities. Temple committees had made special arrangements for crowds. However, managing the rush required additional volunteers.

“We have been preparing for weeks for this occasion,” said a temple official. Special decorations were arranged for Baba Bholenath. Besides, additional priests were deployed for ceremonies.

Devotees performed Jalabhishek with milk, honey and water. Sacred offerings included flowers, fruits and sweets. Moreover, traditional chants echoed throughout temple complexes.
