Education Minister Announces Transfer Rule Changes for Government Teachers

RANCHI – Jharkhand’s education department will recruit 10,000 teachers for tribal and regional language instruction in primary schools.
The initiative covers nine tribal languages. These include Santali, Ho, Kharia, Kurukh, and Mundari.
Additionally, six regional languages will be included. Bengali, Odia, and Nagpuri are among the selected languages.
Transfer Policy Updates
The department is revising teacher transfer rules. The changes aim to simplify home district transfers.
Moreover, the new policy will address mutual transfer challenges. Special provisions for ill teachers will continue.
Furthermore, female teachers will receive updated transfer priorities. Age and posting zone factors remain crucial.
Implementation Plans
A departmental team will study other states’ models. West Bengal’s tribal education system will serve as a reference.
Meanwhile, districts must submit language teacher requirement reports. The department aims for swift implementation.
Additionally, Minister Soren has ordered security personnel for excellence schools. Each school will receive two guards and a gardener.
