JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal reviewed skill development and labor welfare schemes at the Collectorate Auditorium today.
The district currently operates 17 skill centers under various schemes. Training partners reported significant placement success.
Training Programs
Three major initiatives drive skill development: Birsa Yojana, Saksham Jharkhand, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay centers.
Project Director ITDA Deepankar Choudhary attended the review meeting.
Employment Focus
The DC emphasized local job creation. Officials must coordinate with East Singhbhum industries.
Meanwhile, labor registration received attention. The administration plans job fairs to promote welfare schemes.
