MEDININAGAR – A grand welcome ceremony was organized by the Palamu District Congress Committee on Saturday to honor Jharkhand’s Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore. The event took place at the Congress office, where the minister was warmly felicitated.

Congress District President Jaish Ranjan Pathak, also known as Bittoo Pathak, led the ceremony, offering Kishore a shawl and a bouquet. Other Congress members adorned him with garlands and presented flowers as a mark of respect. The event was marked by celebrations, including firecrackers and the distribution of sweets.

Addressing the gathering, Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore expressed his heartfelt gratitude to senior Congress leaders, party workers, and supporters. He acknowledged their contribution to his political success, stating, “It is the support of Congress leaders, workers, and the public that has brought me to this position.”

Kishore reflected on his political beginnings, which started with the Congress party. “Despite being compelled to join other parties under certain circumstances, I never forgot the values and culture instilled by Congress,” he remarked. He added that Congress has given him much in his career, and he feels indebted to the party.

The Finance Minister urged Congress to contest the Palamu parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that the INDIA alliance might struggle to secure a victory here with RJD alone. He motivated workers to focus on solving public grievances and work actively towards development.

The ceremony, chaired by Bittoo Pathak and moderated by Ajay Sahu, was attended by senior Congress leaders, including Dinanath Tiwari, State Secretary Ramashish Pandey, Lakshmi Narayan Tiwari, Purnima Pandey, Vinod Tiwari, Om Prakash Aman, Santosh Chaubey, Shameem Ahmed Rain, Nafees Khan, Rizwan Khan, and Rajesh Chaurasia, among many other enthusiastic workers.
