GAMHARIA – A significant collision occurred around 12:00 PM on Thursday near Usha Mod, Gamharia, on the Tata-Kandra main road. A Hyva vehicle (JH05AT-4261) collided with a Hydra vehicle (JH05BV-8737), causing panic among nearby residents.
The Hyva driver, Pintu Kumar, claimed he was honking to overtake the Hydra, driven by Hopna Tudu, but a collision ensued. The Hyva was approaching from Thana Mod, while the Hydra was coming from Birrajpur.
Police arrived promptly and detained both drivers. Further action is underway. Notably, the Tata-Kandra road has seen multiple accidents recently, including a fatal incident involving a scooter rider near Usha Mod.
