BJP, JMM, JDU Lead in East Singhbhum Assembly Results

JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum assembly election results were declared at Jamshedpur Cooperative College, witnessing major victories for BJP, JMM, and JDU candidates across six constituencies.

In Jamshedpur East, BJP’s Purnima Sahu triumphed over Congress rival Dr. Ajay Kumar by a decisive margin of 43,460 votes, garnering 1,06,398 votes against Kumar’s 62,938.

Saryu Roy, representing JDU, emerged victorious in the high-profile Jamshedpur West seat, defeating Congress candidate Banna Gupta by 8,100 votes. Roy secured 1,02,914 votes, while Gupta managed 94,814.

The JMM retained its stronghold in multiple constituencies. In Jugsalai, Mangal Kalindi successfully defended his seat, defeating AJSU candidate Ramchandra Sahis by 43,125 votes. Similarly, in Potka, JMM’s Sanjeev Sardar ousted BJP’s Dr. Meera Munda with a margin of 27,093 votes.

In Ghatsila, JMM’s Ramdas Soren overcame BJP’s Babula Soren by 21,974 votes, maintaining the party’s dominance. Soren received 97,261 votes, leaving the BJP at 75,287.
