JAMSHEDPUR – Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar took immediate action on Sunday after receiving complaints about broken pipelines at the Moharda water supply system, which halted water distribution to several areas.
Kumar visited the site and held discussions with Jusco officials, urging them to expedite the repairs to minimize inconvenience.
Officials assured him that one pipeline would be repaired by Sunday evening, with the remaining two expected to be operational by Monday.
Kumar addressed concerns about the challenges residents face due to disrupted water supply and offered to arrange water tankers for urgent needs.
He emphasized the need for significant improvements to the Moharda Water Supply Project, highlighting his commitment to providing clean drinking water as a priority under an India Alliance government.
“My focus will be to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure timely and reliable access to clean drinking water for all settlements,” Kumar stated.
