JAMSHEDPUR – In anticipation of the upcoming vote counting on November 23, all Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) have been securely stored and sealed in a strong room at Cooperative College in Bistupur, Jamshedpur.

Following the successful completion of voting in Jamshedpur East Singhbhum district, election officials oversaw the transfer of EVMs to the designated strong room.

Senior officials, including District Commissioner Ananya Mittal and SSP Kishore Kaushal, were present to personally monitor the sealing process.

The securement of the EVMs was conducted with the participation of key political figures from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), ensuring transparency in the handling and storage procedures.

Officials have implemented stringent security around the strong room to prevent any unauthorized access.

“Security is paramount, and we are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of this process,” said a senior election official at the scene.

Countdown to November 23

With the strong room sealed and secured, the focus now shifts to the vote-counting day on November 23.

Officials have arranged for the vote tallying to begin in the morning, with plans to ensure smooth operations and adherence to strict guidelines.

Enhanced measures are in place to prevent any security lapses and ensure that only authorized personnel can access the area.

This will ensure transparency and accuracy in the counting process.
