RANCHI – The National Democratic Alliance has finalized its seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections, with the BJP leading the coalition.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest 68 seats in the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections.

Meanwhile, the AJSU party has secured 10 seats for the polls.

Moreover, the Janata Dal United (JDU) has been allotted two seats, despite their initial demand for 11.

Furthermore, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest on a single seat.

The alliance’s seat-sharing decision was unveiled during a joint press conference at the BJP’s state headquarters in Ranchi.

In addition, the AJSU party will field candidates in constituencies including Silli, Ramgarh, and Gomia.

On the other hand, JDU will contest from Jamshedpur West and Tamar.

Meanwhile, LJP (Ram Vilas) has secured the Chatra assembly constituency.

Notable figures present at the press meet included Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Additionally, AJSU Party President Sudesh Mahto and BJP’s state president Babulal Marandi attended the event.

Babulal Marandi and Sudesh Mahto emphasized their enduring partnership and dedication to Jharkhand’s progress.

"The current administration has prioritized personal interests over public welfare," remarked a local political analyst.

Furthermore, concerns were raised about the present government’s unfulfilled promises.

Notably, Marandi highlighted a significant decrease in Jharkhand’s tribal population under the current regime.
