JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel employees now have the chance to enhance their skills through a bridge course initiated by the Tata Workers Union.

The company has invited all eligible employees to apply for the course, which covers mechanical, metallurgy, and electrical disciplines.

The course will span 20 weeks, with e-learning and online sessions held from Monday to Saturday, between 6:15 PM and 9:00 PM.

This long-standing demand, spearheaded by the union, aims to help employees whose certification or degree courses, once recognized by AICTE or UGC, lost accreditation.

Employees who have completed at least two years of training or have unfinished diploma or degree courses are also eligible to apply.

Tata Steel has appointed designated officers at various locations to assist employees, including Abhiram Jha in Jamshedpur, Padman and Suvojit in Kalinganagar, Amit Gupta in Sahibabad, and others in various centers across India.

Interested employees must submit their applications with their employee ID and contact information by October 10, 2024, through the official email snti.recruit.

Upon completing the course and securing 60% marks, employees will qualify for higher technical benefits and be eligible to apply for higher grades.
