JAMSHEDPUR – A man’s life was saved through quick action by local police following a distress call to the emergency number.

The incident unfolded in a forested area near the Jharkhand-Odisha border.

A resident from the Kowali police station area dialed 100, expressing suicidal intentions.

Promptly, the Kowali police were alerted about the distressing situation.

Using GPS technology, officers swiftly tracked the man’s location via his mobile phone.

Upon arrival, they witnessed a harrowing scene unfolding before them.

The man was attempting to hang himself from a tree with a rope.

However, in a twist of fate, the rope snapped as he made the attempt.

Consequently, the man fell to the ground, narrowly escaping death.

Without hesitation, the police rushed to his aid and rescued him.

Subsequently, they escorted the distressed individual to the police station.

At the station, the man’s wife was summoned for a crucial intervention.

The couple underwent extensive counseling led by the police officers.

As a result of the counseling, the pair reconciled their differences.

They committed to living harmoniously and seeking help for future issues.

Meanwhile, the police expressed relief at the man’s decision to call for help.

This crucial call allowed them to intervene and prevent a tragedy.

Dhananjay Paswan, the Kowali police station In-charge, led the rescue operation.

The search lasted three hours before culminating in the successful rescue.

Ultimately, the timely police intervention saved the man from a tragic fate.
