Cultural Program Marks Independence Day Eve in Chaibasa

On the eve of Independence Day, a cultural program in Chaibasa featured patriotic performances by students from various schools.

CHAIBASA – On the eve of Independence Day, the district administration organized a cultural program at Pillai Hall Auditorium in Chaibasa.

Students from various schools in the city performed patriotic dances and songs at the event.

Event Inauguration and Participation

The program was inaugurated by Jharkhand’s Minister for Scheduled Castes, Tribes, and Backward Classes Welfare and Transport, Deepak Birua, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary, his wife Aparna Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kamleshwar Narayan, SDO Animesh Ranjan, and District Public Relations Officer Isha Khandelwal.

Minister’s Address

In his address, Minister Deepak Birua emphasized that the goals for which India fought and gained independence have not yet been fully achieved, even after 77 years.

He highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by the country and stressed the need for continued efforts by the government and citizens alike.

He mentioned that beyond basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter, there are many other issues that require attention for India to stand alongside other nations.

Minister Birua also reminded the audience of the sacrifices made to attain independence and urged that the occasion be celebrated with great enthusiasm.
