18 schools from Bihar and Jharkhand compete at JRD Sports Complex
The 25th CISCE Regional Swimming Championship 2024, organized by Loyola School, commenced at JRD Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on August 10th.
JAMSHEDPUR – The 25th CISCE Regional Swimming Championship 2024 began at JRD Sports Complex, featuring 18 schools from Bihar and Jharkhand.
Loyola School hosted the event, which brought together schools affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination.
Priti Sinha, Principal of Gulmohur High School and ASISC Zonal Co-ordinator, attended as the Chief Guest.
The championship opened with a soulful prayer, followed by Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, felicitating the Chief Guest.
The CISCE flag was unfurled, officially declaring the meet open.
Participants took the oath of sportsmanship before the competitions began.
Swimmers competed in three categories: Sub Junior, Junior, and Senior, with separate events for boys and girls.
The competitors showcased electrifying performances and commendable sportsmanship throughout the event.
Carmel Junior College emerged as the overall champion of the meet.
As the championship concluded, the CISCE flag was lowered to mark the end of the event.
Fr. Principal expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and officials for their contribution to the event’s success.
