Heavy rainfall on Friday led to significant waterlogging in various parts of MGM Hospital, the largest government hospital in Kolhan, causing difficulties for doctors, staff, and patients.

JAMSHEDPUR – Heavy rains on Friday caused extensive waterlogging at MGM Hospital, the largest government hospital in Kolhan.

Water accumulated in the hospital premises, including the pediatric ward and laundry, making it difficult for doctors and staff to navigate.

Water also entered through windows near the emergency area, causing significant discomfort for admitted patients.

Hospital staff had to manually remove the water after the rain stopped.

Patients reported that water often enters the wards through windows during heavy rain, causing considerable inconvenience.

Addressing the waterlogging issue has become a critical concern for the hospital administration.

This situation not only affects patients’ health but also disrupts the work of doctors and staff.

The hospital administration needs to find a permanent solution to prevent waterlogging during the rainy season and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
