Bistupur Couple Accused of Rs 20 Lakh Property Fraud

JAMSHEDPUR – A case of alleged property fraud has been registered at Bistupur police station, involving a sum of Rs 20 lakh.
Bhavesh Ranpara, residing in New Baradwari’s Prerna Sarla Apartment, Sakchi, has accused U Vasani and her husband R Vasani of fraudulent practices in a shop sale agreement.
Ranpara claims he paid Rs 70 lakh for two shops in Bistupur Gurudwara Basti, but received ownership of only one.
The complainant alleges the Vasani couple has been delaying the return of money for the undelivered shop.
Bistupur police station in-charge Umesh Kumar Thakur confirmed the case registration and ongoing investigation.
This incident has raised concerns about the safety of property transactions in the area.
A local real estate dealer commented, "Such cases underscore the need for thorough documentation and legal scrutiny in property deals."
